3D Printing in the architectural model making industry has enabled the building of some impressive and advanced models that were not possible before.

Visually, they enable architects and model makers to create models with finer details and more complex shapes & textures. As well as digitally controlled colouring and any transparency. Which gives greater design freedom when recreating designs and presenting ideas more accurately at smaller model-sized scales.

On the production side, the advantages of 3D printing allow for faster model building and less design editing. Including increases in efficiency and sustainability by having fewer manufacturing processes, a lack of molds and reduced waste.
